-Information technology (IT) is the application of computers and telecommunications equipment to store, retrieve, transmit and manipulate data, often in the context of a business or other enterprise.The term is commonly used as a synonym for computers and computer networks, but it also encompasses otherinformation distribution technologies such as television and telephones.
2). What do Information Technology professionals do?
-Information Technology brings you the information and applications-such as word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software-that office workers everywhere rely on to do their jobj. IT specialists create such products and set up and maintain such systems. They upgrade your computer software, get your office computer network, or your computer, up and running again after it crashes, set up and maintain the servers on which your company's internal applications run.
3). What kind of computers do you use?
-I have had for the past 2 years or so and they have all been really good compared to my Asus and Dell. My desktop however, is custom built and focused around better brands for different parts. As a basic example choose intel for your processor they are faster, last longer and are less prone to overheating and melting.
4). What do you use computers for at work?
- Hardware consists of devices, like the computer itself, the monitor, keyboard, printer, mouse and speakers. Inside your computer there are more bits of hardware, including the motherboard where you would find the main processing unit(CPU). The hardware processes the commands it receives from the performs tasks or calculations.
